I understand the "Bathurst" Monaros had upgraded brakes. What are the differences?

Hi 81837.
It depends what is meant by 'Bathurst' Monaro, because there were no special batches produced for Bathurst.
The disc brake thing goes like this.
All HKs with discs (Monaro GTS or not) use 0.5" (1/2") thick disc rotors.

Thanks Dr Terry, good explanation! An interesting variation is my HT Brougham which I beleive to be unmodified also has the 5/8 discs. It was built 1/70 so may be in the "changeover" period.
Another question, the HG master cylinder has a large hex plug

1/70 would not be in the changover period, as this is in the middle of the range HTs ran from 7/69 to 7/70.
he large nut is the right one, is theother cast alloy or steel?

Thanks Warren, I'll need to check that HT master cylinder material when I get home on Thursday. It may well be alloy as it is not painted or rusty from memory. The "big nut" HG M/C is cast iron or steel and painted black.
An unrelated question, I have

Hi 81837.
The ADR Cmpliance plate first appeared 1/1/70, so the latter half of HT production & all HGs have them.
