hey there. I drive a 77 transit van with a pre cross 250 it it. I got a 3.5 rear end, 4 spd manual. goes well on gas.
just scored a TD cortina with the crossflow 250.
my pre cross needs new rings and a better tune on the dizzy so its performance could be better.
I'm not looking for drag race power, just good solid grunt.
The pre cross was 2v but needs a slight mod (bolt on) to squeeze it in.
Question- anyone got ideas on which engine would best suit.
thanx in advance

in a transit van its hard to say.i personaly like the 250 2v's but theres nothing wrong with a crossflow in a transit.if you change to a crossflow you will need to change the exhaust manifold to suit.id probably stick with the pre crossflow.
