308 into 6 cylinder VL

Rank: Member Reputation: Groups: Registered Joined: 29/04/2006(UTC) Posts: 27		Hi guys. I am putting a 308 into a rb30 VL. for my mate, and would like any help I can get for the engine mounts. The motor is from a VK so has Commodore mounts and sump. I couldnt find a VL V8 crossmember so this is my plan... I have a VK 6cyl crossmember I am gonna cut the rack mounts off, them cut rack mounts off the VL crossmember and weld onto the VK one. Is there a easier way of modifying to get the 308 into the VL or can you buy mounting adapters Any help would be appreciated thanks

Is this correct? I thought If I used the VK crossmember I'd get the right mounts, then
