Hi everyone i own a holden commodore VY S 2002. I have 17inch mags on them but looking to upgrade to a larger tryre. does anyone know how big i can go before i lose any of my turning circle or anything like that? thanks Simon

what tyres does it have now ? 225, 235,245 are you going bigger rims too. HBD did a 18x8 with 235x45`s and 245`s

225 im pretty sure and yeh getting bigger rims as well

check for tyre prices too, going bigger rims means the tyres are a lot more expensive, most 18 inch tyres are around $200 + ea for a brandname, a recap is about $105+ea. The turn circle shouldnt be altered by much.

Id just buy Factory Holden 18x8 rims. You can still buy V2 series 2 CV8 rims. I think the factory tyres are 235/45/18. I just bought new tyres for my CV8 last week for about $200 each for Bob Jane Xenons. Maxxis Z1 tyres were about $260 and are an excelle |
