th700 in a HZ how does the speedo work

have a HZ with a 202 3 speed on the tree but want to upgrade to VN motor/trans . but how does the speedo work as it is electronic not cable please let me know if Im wrong just in the mits of changing a motor over in a VN series1 tryed to leave the trany in the car but theres no bolts in the trany mount long story short it all came out in one and broke the wires on the trany extention but no cable so leeds me to believe that it electric

A vN box had a connection for a speedo and the sensor screws onto that connection. What you need to do for a HZ is buy a Kalmaker 2 pulse/rev inline speed sensor that screws onto the box and the speedo cable then screws into it.
