Hey guys just another query. Will heads off of a 253 HX motor fit onto a HQ 308? Ive heard I need to change to a 4 barrel manifold but will the heads just swap over?

HQ heads from 253 to 308 should interchange as they have NO EGR ports to worry about.
Once u hit the HX that would 1977 I guess, you hit ADR27a and teh EGR valve rubbish. Usually a u shaped channel in the head itself.
You need to marry up a manifold
