hi all, just bought a holden (chev) suburban that has just been converted to lpg- prblem is no upper cyl head lube system has been installed. Now, i dont want a repeat of the 1FZ-FE toyota debacle i had with burning out valves- do i need to run a upper cylinder head lube on this car or not? it is (as far as i can tell )a regular iron block 350. theres that much crap on top of the motor you can't tell it's a v8! replacing it will be a biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiig job. any advice/info much appreciATED. would love to hear from someone who has a 'burban with similar mods. thanks muchly

I'd say yes, as it's really just a later model 350 Chev. I used to have a HJ with an unleaded 350 in it and when I put LPG on it the valve guides wore out in no time.
If it's a Vortec 350 (which I think a Suburban is) keep an eye out for inlet manifold l
