350 HG exhaust valve

Rank: Member Reputation: Groups: Registered Joined: 25/05/2007(UTC) Posts: 206		My 350 has a butterfly type valve between the LHS exhaust manifold and engine pipe which is held closed with a spiral spring and I guess opens under pressure at revs. What is this all about? Should it be there? Thanks
