Hi Guys, Just wondering if they ever made one? Ive only ever seen flexdrive tachos. Can anyone confirm this? Also are the two large gauges throughout the HQ range always the same type? I notice the indicator shape is different between VDO and flexdrive, so I'd assume a HQ would have never come out of the factory with a flexdrive tacho, and a VDO speedo?
And one last question, did any HQ GTS dashes ever have a km/h only speedo?
any help greatly appreciated! Rhys

Yeah, there is such a thing as a HQ VDO Tacho... theres one in my HQ. But I put it there in place of the clock template. :-)
My Belmont has km/h speedo. Build date mid 1974.
Cheers, Jason.

1971/72 speedo's were Mph, 1973 were both Kph and Mph with miles on the odometre, 1974 were Kph only, all GTS/SS speedo's were 140 Mph on 71/72, 140 Mph and 220 Kph on 73 and 220 Kph on 74 (although I have not seen a straight 220Kph speedo) Early model g |

Hi Guys,
thanks for the information. I assume the answer to the tacho question is no (except for Jasons!)
John just for you information, I had an original 5/1973 HQ Statesman with just miles for the speedo (standard dash), and my current 2/1974 HQ h
