i want to make a push button/electronic auto changer, like the valiant cars once had,, i do not want a t,bar stuck in the middle of the foor. if it was a manual, i can understand it, but auto? i just find it a waste of space, cumbersome, and hard to clean, has anyone any idea, on how they operated, and where i would start in the design??
totally out of the square???

There are even paddle shifter kits for electronic automatic transmissions as well. Here is a link to one.
