Iam rebuilding 3.8ltr VN series 1 engine. took off the valley cover turned the crank and theres a shaft that turns with the cam or so it seems what is it for [balance] sorry dont kwon first V6 rebuild thanx dudes it's beer o'clock Edited by user Sunday, 12 August 2007 10:33:20 AM(UTC)

Yes its a balnce shaft to take some of the vibration out of the engine.
