Hi everyone...
I am wondering if someone can have a stab at what power the engine combination i am about to describe should make?

Ok ...
Its a Commodore Blue 202 not sure if its bored out( i assume it is 40 over at least ) it has Roller rockers . 12 port head and triple SU carbs, lumpy cam and extractors. ..i was told it was in a LX Torana which went real fast...
And thats all i know.. i realise that i really need to provide more details...eg, shaved head ..porting, cam profile, etc. But i dont know !

So just a basic estimate will be cool...

Also, my 186 is in trouble , so as the 202 isnt gonna stay in my panno (307 going in ) i might whack it im my HT Prem daily driver...
So here are more questions, it will be run on gas, so the tripples will go...what carby would suit this donk on gas..?? 350 Holley.Webber .WW2 Strommy?( its a Trimatic ) hi way ratio diff... or , if its a little revver, will it be no good for a hi way car ?

I want economy ..ie torque.

Thanks for the answers :)

Problem is LPG doesn't like real lumpy cams. And a lumpy cam also won't give you torque, well not where you want it anyway.
As for power, well that depends upon how well it was all matched up. If it's all done ad-hoc by someone that doesn't know what the

Gas cam definitley makes a smoother torquier difference, especially if you plan on running primarily or only on LPG. They have a longer exhaust duration. My old 9 port 202 had 97KW at the back wheels on LPG with a gas cam and 350 Holley and 'Stage 3' Head
