I have a red 308v8 stroked to 355. i was just wondering which spark plug gaps i should be using. It has electronic ignition fitted, and has been worked e.g (high compression). I'm using bp5fs plugs at the moment. Should i be using a different heat range or a bigger spark gap (like 1.5)? thanks for anyone who can help me.

My red 202 now has electronic ignition... running standard 0.9mm gaps ran very rough. Upped it to 1.5mm, and provided a 12volt supply to the coil instead of 8 volt (through the original resistor wire), and it runs a dream.
Jason.

No worries.
Obviously... you can just regap your existing plugs - no need to get new ones.
(Wasn't sure from your reply if you were going to do this or not!)
Good Luck. Jason.

Chris, I couldn't help but notice u have a 355 stroker - I'm considering doing the same thing, but am wondering what rods/pistons to run in conjunction with the 355 crank?
