Hello there. Im thinking about fitting a set of alloy VN style heads to my red motor. Does this require fitment of a roller cam and lifters? What's involved in fitting a roller cam? Its an 11QTxxx block. Cheers Justin Edited by user Saturday, 1 September 2007 9:35:49 AM(UTC)

No. You can fit a flat tappet cam if you want. Just remember when your ordering the cam to tell whoever, that it's a VN headed engine as they are a different cam than a red motor head.
