sagging engine mounts is common on the older ones with age, go for a good service history,if serviced well they are pretty bullitproof.
my vr v6 still goes well with 310,000klms and my vs statesman v6 with 260,000 still going strong. these are older but

If you keep looking around privately you may find a VY for under $10k. I've seen a few going through dealers for around $12,990. I've noticed VX SS's down around $10k also. There was a low kM VT II Berlina at Newcastle Mazda for about $9,500 yesterday.

The only problem is im from Adelaide and they have no R.W.C here and old cars keep there value. It realy sh.ts me because I look on eBay and all interstate cars go for a grand or 2 cheaper, like there still selling VKs and XFs here for a couple of grand.

Most Commodore V6s at around 150-160ks need things done like; belts and pulleys, crank angle sensor and water pump.

go to the auto auctions like pickles and fowles (Mannheim) you will pick up a late model for 2 or 3 grand under retail, the only problem is you dont get warranty and may have to put it over the pits and usually you cannot test drive but there are substant
