Hi monaro 202 and all others reading,including harry, just getting back to the holden registery story, I can tell you that when you ring the "holden assist" line, you speak with a rep for holden, from here, you can obtain the vehicle specs as released fro

Re wrong info from Holden, they stated the correct engine no but that it was a 202 V8?

if you have a LJ GTR say (82911 body) and JP prefix (hey, you could stamp your own for arguments sake)
holden will confirm a letter for LJ XU-1!
i would take local holden club ID over Holden assist.
