Just wondering whats the smallest in actual mass automatic transmission
that would fit behind a 302 Ford windsor. We have a 1975 Crown and were thinking of fitting a 253 Holden with a M21 4 speed gearbox but because of the size of the box the transmission tunnel would need altering. I've also been told to fit a Ford 302 with a Ford automatic and no tunnel work is required anyone know which transmission he would have referred to. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
