been looking at a hq prem(74) its 253/tri,gts wheels(all black, did they come out like this)tidy int, rusty sills and around back window and plenty of crows feet. he wants $4000 for it and i know its hard without seeing it(runs very sweet) but what would you expect to pay in this cond. thanks for any imput.

$1500-2000 if your generous, there are still good prems around with less rust and better paint for less than $4000.keep an eye on ebay or your trading post, GTS rims were optional across the range and are not all black from factory (the wheels I presume y

cheers for that. i wasnt going to pay anywhere near the 4k but i just didnt know what to offer. he told me that the gts rims come out in black as well as the silver/black but i havent seen them in black before. i will keep my eye out but i will try to ge

i just bought a 253 prem all original in top nick for 5500.

The guy has no idea, GTS rims were originally silver/charcol grey , all were two colours , some one has painted them black at sometime

rust is the major concern as said above. the less rust, the less money u will have to spend simple as that. i would say $2500 at the most. but then you still have to expect a few more thousand on rust work, plus the time and effort involved.
