Hi! Would a VS ute V6 auto tow a LX hatchback on a tandem disc brake trailer easy enough for a long distance?

We have towed a fully Laden HX Ute around 1500K's with a VT Commodore on a tandem trailer, If its an auto, a decent trans cooler would be a must.

For the sake of the poor Torana, could you perhaps disguise it as a ford while it's being towed? Wouldn't want it's friends seeing it... :-)

I've towed a V8 HK Monaro on a tandem, with a 400 Chev in pieces in the tray of the ute. The ute was a 2000 VSIII V6 5-speed, and we towed from Gloucester to Tamworth via Thunderbolts way. No problems whatsoever. If you know Thunderbolts way you'll unders

I towed a HK van less motor and box from Gosford to Geelong (11-12hr trip) behind my VS SIII V6 5spd. Fuel economy was up shit creek, but it towed suprisingly well.
