Hello, I Pulled the motor out of my `66 falcon xp to get the rear main seal replaced. After putting everything back together I cant help but notice an unbearably loud high pitched scream when ever the starter motor is engauged. The scream reaches a shrill as the engine fires. This did not happen before. Can anyone identify this problem? Engine is 144cu converted to 170cu, manual 3 on the tree.

Is the ring gear on around the correct way or maybe the starter is fully engaged.
