HQ voltage regulator for dash gauges ???

hi
can anyone tell me if HQs had voltage regulators for the guages, i've got a gts dash and i'm wondering if i should put one in ? if they did have one what voltage were they ?

Hi hq ute.
Yes & no.
The fuel gauge only from mid 73 onwards is of the thermal type (with its own internal voltage regulator).
Earlier fuel gauges & all HQ oil & temp gauges are of the 12V magnetic type, which do not require a reg.
