Hi All,

Picked up a red 308 block (QT prefix) couple of weeks ago. Started taking apart and cleaning and underneath the paint on one side there is a repaired crack in between the welsh plugs. Two of the welsh plug holes were welded in with metal. So my question is - do I throw away and get another block, or can this be checked and if necessary repaired so its as good as new?

Thanks for your help

First what a QT PreFix, I would have thought red 308'2 are easy to obtain. Why not just get another block.
