Are all 4l60e trannys the same? i.e Will a VX or VX 4l60e fit into a VR?

fitting and working are two different things dont mix them up. every different model has unique calibrations. and also vr 4l60e had bellhousing as part of the trans case where the vt onwards had removeable bellhousing. My advice dont stuff around and use

There are electronic differences in the way the VR 'box is controlled, even different to the VS 4L60E.
Basically you can ONLY replace your VR box with another one of the same spec, although there is some leeway if you swap over the electronic guts & th |
