Evening all - have bought a house, with a four car garage with pit.
It's a BIG advantage to be able to just reach up to the whole of the underneath of the HR Prem sedan, let me tell you!
Have had a bit of clutch judder, even after having it replaced. While removing the clutch housing cover there was a fair bit of dripping oil which didn't smell like gearbox oil, and the mechanism wasn't dry. Suspect that this means the rear main oil seal in the 112,00 original miles engine has gone. Is this much of a job to replace? Should I just rebuild the whole engine which is otherwise fine and is all original?
The uni joints have grease nipples, which seems a little strange in light of the fact that the workshop manual says they're "permanently sealed at the time of manufacture". Are these some type of replacement?

A lot of unis have grease nipples, only last night I greased some HJ ones. The rear main oil seal is basically replaced by taking the motor out. I think it is possible to do it in car but is a major headache. A lot simpler to pull the motor/box. You have
