Hey guys/Girls,

Got a VS S Commodore with a standard EcoTec V6 Auto.

Would i be pipe dreaming if i was looking at putting the AlloyTec V6 in as a transplant?

Im hoping to keep it to under $2000 including a gearbox/tranny, and ill do as much of the work as i can myself, but... is it a straight bolt up, or do i need conversion kits for the engine and box mounts, and would i need a custom tailshaft, etc etc.

ANY input would be a great help!

Cheers!

just keep your vs motor in ther. if you need a nother motor get a vs v6. its only a v6. the new v6 are crap upto 4000 rpm anyway and it will cost you heeps and it will not make it worth any more. it will put ppl off coz its been played with to much.
