can anyi tell me what colour wire and where to find it for the thermo fan on a 90 vn commodore v6 s1 and how to go about runnin it to manul switch?reason is it doesnt come on i checked fan motor it work if u hot wire it anyi had this befor ??thanks in advance.

Is the car getting hot? Did you recently flush or change the radiator? AFAIK an air lock will cause your temp to go up but the thermos dont come on...
Is the relay ok?... usually they dont turn off it the relay blows, thats common in the vts etc but no

yeah no air lock relay ok what about the air cond i notice the wire to the clutch is not cornected would that stop the thermo fan from workin??doesnt the fan clickin when aircod is switched on? thanks.

Check the thermo sensor switch, its located at the rear of the engine , next to the thermostat housing. I had the same problem with my old mans car and it turned out to be the switch. about $16.00 from holden , if i recall correctly.
