hey boys im tony,17 building a vc 202 blue...just wundering wats the best carby to have on it...its gonna have a cam nd yella terra head nd **** like that.

There are many 'best' carbies. It depends on what you want, economy, power, torque, smoothness, what exhaust, what fuel, what cam, what you like the look of???? They are all 'best'

In my opinion the best single carb Holden 6 is a 202 (red, blue or black with blue/black crank and rods) with a performance red motor head running about 9:1-9.5:1 compression, between a 25/65 and 30/70 cam, HEI ignition, balanced, 186S inlet and exhaust m

i have worked with steel and welding all my working life what would be the requiement for making a decent manifold ?

Get a 186S one and cut the flanges off, and weld on the stock blue motor flanges. Then fill up with weld, and smooth off so they mate without big step changes. Probably would also require mods to the head or leaving splitters in the manifold so the air fl
