i have put a trimatic in my ute , it is out of a comodor , can't get speedo to read correct, . the diff ratio is 3.08 speedo reads 60 kph at around 100kph. anybody no wat size speedo cog !!

Had the same problem when I went from auto to manual. What you have to do is get a gps or follow another car for exactly ten K's on their odometer. See how far you have gorn on your's,( yours will probably be close to the 6 K mark) ring up Castlemaine rod

Cogs are only about $12, so I'd get the proper cog if I were you. If you find out what colour you presently have, and take your diff ratio to a Holden dealer they should be able to sort you out, if somone here can't help you.

hi bob, there is a 2 part formula. holden have it. or if you email me ( [email protected])your tyre diamiter, diff ratio and spedo drive gear colour. ie the one in side the gearbox on the rear shaft. blue or white, then i will work it out and email y
