Running a quady with automatic choke, and like most of these automatic chokes its fairly dicey on cold mornings. I really want to convert the choke to a manual, wondering how hard it is to do and if there are any information/parts available for this kind of conversion ?

Don't imagine it being to hard, but want to be sure before I start pulling my choke apart.

Cheers.

Yes, there are many options such as replacing the entire choke body and metal pull-off diaphragm with the older HQ style which can either be connected to a bimetal spring (i.e. divorced choke setup) or to a conventional choke cable (manual) via a SU style

I converted my 350 holley from elec choke to full manual using a $15 universal manual choke kit from Peps auto supplies in Liverpool. Works well and is easy to do.

if you don't need the choke very much then you are running ritcher then what you need to be. you are also posibly losing a couple of horses too.

OK. If you really don't find something then it is possible to just install a standard choke cable then open the choke body on the quaddy (remove 3 screws or rivets) and gut/remove all the internals). This will give you a choke body with a shaft in the mid
