Further to my earlier post about the clutch judder.
Today I replaced the clutch slave ( or "actuating" according to the shop manual) cylinder. Not terribly difficult. Adjusted the throwout bearing to diaphragm clearance,as in the manual. The outcome is no more judder, and best of all, NO MORE DRIPS! Musta been the old one was so stuffed that it was losing fluid everywhere!Seems that my fears about rear main seal were unfounded.
Makes it a good Saturdays work.
