they are only available in police cars, they have fine lines between the normal range of say 40-45-50 etc. cop speedo will have 50-51-52-53-54-55-the numbers are not printed as such but lines representing them are on the speedo, usually around the 60 and

when I put my Q over the pits I had swapped the tacho and speedo around and had to swap them back to the right sides before the inspectors would pass it they reckoned the speedo could not be read clearly through the steering wheel and was not original pla

Hey fellas, just while we are on GTS dashes,
Has anyone noticed the difference between the HZ and WB yellow needle GTS dash???
from what i can tell, the empty on the fuel and alt on the HZs was red,
while the WB was all yellow.
any comments?

yep, the GTS dash was optional on all models and from what I know and have seen, the dahses are the same - the red warning sectors were always red irrespective of HZ or WB, my guess is the ones you saw on the WB were tired and faded.

An addendum! Firstly, its dashes, not dahses, and secondly, "on all models" refers to the WB ute and van, not the WB Statesmans ...

I disagree with the faded theory.

My factory 308, M20 2 seater 1984 WB kingswood ute is 100% orig,
and the Dash is not faded, (1 owner , 238,000 km).
ALL of the WB's kingswoods with GTS dashes that i have wrecked / seen have been all yellow,

Hi adam.

Im not quite sure what you are saying.

Do you mean that late WB GTS-type yellow needle instruments also have yellow warning sectors. By that I mean the lowest point on the scale, the vertical line, is it red, yellow or red faded to white.
If at first you don't succeed, just call it Version 1.0
