Hi all, I know you can change an open center to an LSD center in a 10 bolt large sals.
Can you change an open center to an LSD center in a VR-VS diff (not IRS)??? If so, can you use the same crown/pinion like with the 10 bolts??

Yep and yep. You can buy an lsd carrier for $550 new. Just have to bolt your crown wheel and
pinion to it and away you go (may need a bearing kit too)
Ive been looking at the same thing recently as well.

Crap, I just realised I didn't specify V6 or V8.
I'm talking about V8 Commodore diffs. Does anyone know if this is still the case with V8 diffs?

yep still the same. the vn-vs diff centres are all the same 4 pinion 28 spline bw78 centres. irs centres are the same as well. all interchangable.
