I have a few questions here.
How many diferant cars come out with an opel 4speed? and is there numbers that match the HG Monaro or will any do?
Also im in serch for a 186s for my 1970HG gts what preffix numbers should i be looking for and is there a matching head numbers?
Does anyone out there have one and what would they be worth, im guessing aruond the 500-1000 dollar mark for complete 186s with the 4speed opel. would that be close to the mark.

HD, HR, HK, HT, HG and LC.

A complete 186S and Opel with all correct accessories would probably sell for at least $2500.

Hi Byron.

The Opel 4-speed was not used in HDs or early HRs. They didn't arrive until June 1967 (late HR).

They were replaced in July 1971 by the Aussie 4-speed & the remaining stocks were used in LHD export LCS & LJs.

I wasn't thinking straight when I typed that. I actually knew that was the case, but I had in the back of my head that you had said that there were a few X2 4 speeds available in another post, and then the brain being what it is put 2 and 2 together and g
