I am removing my cowl from my HX as it's got a bit of rust round the corners of windscreen and more than likely some underneath. I have drilled out the spot welds from around the front but... I can't seem to find any spot welds in the windscreen channel. Do i cut the cowl at the channel?? If so where specifically do i cut, at the bottom of the channel in the base of the V where the windscreen sits??. Or slightly to one side??? Any tips appreciated!! thanks.

the welds are there, like flies on a pig at 100 metres you can't see them but they are there.
if they are hard to find the only solution is to cut the cowl out with an angle grinder close to where the weld line would be and try a thin screw driver along
