trying to identify the diff in my ej ute. has numbers 26E7 with number 4 stamped has 8 bolts. would this diff be strong enough (legally in Vic.) for a v8 conversion cheers

if its the orriginal diff then no way sounds like a banjo get a volvo 240 disk brake diff....same stud pattern as eh.... been told there a stright fit.....same lenght and as strong as 9" also come in LSD....

Hi Guys.
While the Volvo diff, which is a Dana 44, is tougher than a Banjo, it can't really be compared to a 9". I've seen many broken & that includes in Volvos, behind their little 4 cyl engine.
The strength of a 9" is in their shear size & the ex |
