Hi guys i have a mate who has a disc brake salisbury diff from a stato that he wants to put into a 1 tonner, i have read back thru a few old posts and from what i can see it will fit with lowering blocks for the discs to clear the leaf springs but what i need to know is it possible to just change all the disc brake gear onto the original drum brake diff? Also is the hand brake setup diff nd if so what needs to be done to fit it all up?

Thanks Blade

Hi BlaDe.

Yes, all the disc brake stuff (includig the axles) will fit the drum brake diff.

The handbrake lever fouls the leaf springs, so if you use thick enough lowering blocks, the lever will then clear. I found this too low on mine, so I modified
If at first you don't succeed, just call it Version 1.0

The bogan way to extend cable from ute to 1 tonner is to use extra "C" joiners, welded together.

A1 Bogan.
Old holdens brought on the spot, quick decision, cash paid.
