i know many of u think of a rodeo as an inferior car to your HQ HZ holdens etc but i would appreciate some ideas.
4ZE1 engine idles erratic and from about 100 kph up there is no power. tested fuel pressure etc all fine ECU says ignition system. have new leads, plugs, rotor. could it be the coil? or the pickup unit in the distributor? BTW goes well when cold but when warmas up all hell breaks loose.

Hi HUMPTY_P
No the message to Rod is simple. Get it to GMH. They have the gear and the guys to fix it. The Rodeo or Trooper are a good strong unit. My 97 model was a beaut and the 2001 was a dog. Isuzu, changed the gearing.
