Hi all, I have recently converted my 6cyl XW to a 351c and toploader out of a XC. I have chaged the yoke on my existing tailshaft to suit but upon reinstallation it appears the tailshaft is now a fraction too long. I am still running the original diff and will upgrade one day..... In the mean time can anyone suggest the best way to get around this. Do I get it shortened or is there another shaft that will fit my current setup?

it is always best to get one shortened to suit, at the same time it gets balanced, cost is around $150. S/hand ones can be out of balance anyway.
