I've stuffed up..whilst trying to take the (trimatic) torque convertor off the back of a red 253, with a top-quality Supa-Cheap Auto 14mm spanner, I badly burred one of the three retention bolts that secures it to the flywheel. I cant budge it with vice grips (probably wrecked it further). What the hell can I do? The other two loosened off well.... I'm not really mechanically adept.

impact driver. cut a slot in witha hacksaw. put the driver on and smash it with a hammer. should crack it so you can use the vice grips. replace the bolt after obviously.

If it doesn’t burn fossil fuels, it’s not a sport.

Also try a Metrinch 14mm / 9/16" socket or ring spanner.

if a socket won't do, get a good set of vice grips and take your time and try them on as tight as you can, - you only get a couple of goes at it.

A1 Bogan.
Old holdens brought on the spot, quick decision, cash paid.

Or failing that, a stud extractor may be required. Drill hole in the end and insert extractor (stud extractor looks like seriosly nasty self tapper, but with left hand thread).

As you put it in, it will bottom out, tighten up, then hopefully begin to
