Are the standard steering boxes the same as power steering???Standard box as listed as 20:1 ratio,Optional as 16:7:1, 54 balls (optional/power steering)and 50 balls(standard)is this correct?? and is it possible to run power steering with standard ratio box???

My HT Brougham has the 16.7:1 high ratio steering box with factory power steering, its got a 13" sports wheel fitted and is really nice to drive.

The 16.7:1 box was fitted to GTS Monaros and are now hard to get hold of. I dont see why power steering wo

Yes, all HK/HT/HGs with power steer used the 16.7:1 steering box.

You could use the stock 20:1 box in a p/st conversion but it would have less 'road feel'.

The whole idea of originally using the 16.7:1 box was to increase the feel as wel
