Can some one tell me the valve tappet clearance for a standard red 202 holden motor.

I cant say but my mate use to run the engine and tighten say the exhaust down till he could hear it in the exhaust. Same as carb he would turn the intake down till he could hear it in the carb.
Seemed to work for him but he prob had a good ear for it. |
If its not broke it will be soon |

You should be asking in the holden forum... But anyways the 202 and 173 are just like the 308 and 253 V8 you just bolt the the rocker arms straight down tight if the top of the valve stem is worn or the rockers are you will hear it tapping. The 186 engine |
