with 20 Lt trans fluid @ $115. i am looking at alternatives.

I am thinking water thru hose at this stage, and then chuck it on an oven to dry internally, then rinsing with Trans fluid?

any suggestions?

i don't want to wreck a good box because of a dirty converter.

Kerosene dissolves transmission fluid. DON'T use water - number 1 enemy of auto transmissions (along with heat). I've never bothered though, just got an exchange converter.
