Les just wondering if you have any plans to reproduce the under dash pannel for hj-hz with A/C. as the AC cars did not have the floor vent switches so they do not need the cut outs. can send a pic if that helps id what im talking about.

cheers

We do not have any plans to make this product in the near future, I can put it on the wish list but I would be doubtful it would be produce sometime soon

no prob les. Trouble is alot of the monaros/upmarket cars had A/C so the need this pannel. as said maybe you could sell the one with the vent sections blanked off and if someone wants one with the slots for the switches they could just trim it out. or i guess that is all new tooling needed?

cheers

Hi Quent
We are only making the HJ and HX badge at the moment and I would not expect to see a sample until mid May if approved we should have stock late August. Thats the plan I am hoping there would be no problems that would delay them but you never know.

Hi Les,
Might have been asked already but are there plans to make an early HQ GTS console without the cut out in it? Also LX Torana for that matter?

Hi H81837Q
We have plans to make the LX console, possibly the HJ one. We have no plans to make the HQ one as yet but that may change.

Would love to see a HQ console Les, Id certainly get one after paying $570 only to be the wrong one for my 71 Q as it has the cut out. Maybe do some market research on demand for the HQ Console? Please Please !!!With the LX console are you looking at making the whole thing? Including the dash air vent section in front of the gear stick? I havent got one for mine but I thought they were a 2 piece console? I may be wrong. When do you expect the LX console production to happen?

H81837Q
We have done some research on the HQ console and it came up negative (no demand) The LX console is two piece, according to the drawings we borrowed and the top is the same as the HZ only the bottom is different. Unfortunately the drawings where assembly drawings and not manufacturing drawings I am told we cannot make the bottom piece from the drawings and will need a sample which we will obtain in due course.

That part was canned in early March 2009 I doubt it will come up again this year , there would have to be unprecedented demand to bring it forward and get it made
