I went for r/w and one of the things i have to do on my old HJ van is the wipers because they stop where you turn them off instead of finishing the wipe and stoping on bottom. What can i do to fix this?
any help would be great.

One of two things, does it still have the metal strap on the motor to the body?
If it does then the contact on the cam needs retensioning, not a hard job you need to pull the motor out and get into the large wheel. On the underside there is a set of co

even if it does have the strap check it is earthed properly as mine had the strap screwed down tight but it wasnt earthing at all so i sanded the firewall a bit more and job done

Thanks also fellas. In the search for a neater firewall I took off the little strap. Guess what happened, that will teach me to mess around with things that work. Good advice guys...
