hi all just purchesed a hr wag and planning in making a sleeper and putting 350sbc. any one done it and roughly how much it will cost me.
iv already got the motor and box.what sort of conversion kits are availible and price.cheers.

ring Rod hadfield in castlemain he can sell you the strengthening kit you need and advice, check with your RTA for legal requirements.

Expect to spend $10,000 plus body, plus paint, plus interior, plus super engine performance bits. By the time you get it all engineered, and add all of the associated components that go with V8 (not including special expensive bolt on bits), like radiator

cool thanx, has any one out there got any detailed pics to give me some idea of what to cut and what not to cut.
was thinking if going to be too hard may think about v6 turbo. my brother has just done v6 turbo in a gemini for under 4000. just a thought.
