I had this old girl for 25 years, still in show condition, the car has won many concoarses on Motor shows but that was 15 years ago, still in good condion, been sitting covered up in my mums brick shed for 10years..The car weighs 1000 kilo`s..Body made of fibreglass..running a 320 HP 351 clevland motor,4 speed top loader,LSD Diff, electric windows.air condtioning.cruise control..From factory the car has only done 13,000 miles..For the people who have never heard of the car, they were factory cars made by Bolwell in Melbourne....120 Coupes and 15 convertables...First built late 1969`s and finished early 1974...Goverment stopped prodution of the cars being a Super car just about the same time the Falcon Gt Phase 4 and the XU2 toranas got canned..Just thought i`d mention about the car since it is a Australian 70`s Muscle Car..There`s a New Bolwell Nagari coming out this year and will be at the Melbourne Car Show Feb..22nd. I wonder whether this car was resurrected, or whether it is still sitting there?

I work on Bolwell's often, and they are an interesting car. Mostly Mark 5, 7 and 8
Latest one is a Mark 8 with 347 Stroker, Toploader, Jaguar IRS rear end, 16" Simmons and air cond. |
