Does anyone know what the torque settings should be for the inlet manifold and the tappets??? on a hj 253 red motor, i got the head torque from the the gasket packet but dont know the others and dont have a manual. Any help would be much appreciated thanks

For the inlet 30 lb/ft in sequence see diagram.

Rocker arm pivot bolts 28 lb/ft.

Taken from the Gregorys manual for HQ-HJ V8 No 147.

Inlet manifold is 25-30 lb/ft by the manual. Which to me is piddly. Or tighten until water leaks stop. Somewhat same as the rockers/pivots a piddly 28 !! I did my rockers hand firm with thread loctite, dont want em coming lose.
