looking at getting a 355 crank for my 308 do i have to get any think done to block. Can i use standed rods

yes you can use the standard rods, if the crank has holden journals, and you have to get the block skirts clearanced.
If nissan motorsport is nismo, then doesn't that make honda motorsport Homo?

both are important. never done the Toyota comparison. rods outta toyota what?. GM engineers bent a chev rod at 90 clockwise twist, and bent it back again. the rod was then tested, and demonstated it was fine. not bad. No particular engine just saying quality is better.....although its been 19 years since the lexus V8 hit the market and shocked BMW and mercedes with its engineering brillance.

Sorry for not logging in guys - on Hamilton Island.
You can get 350 stroker cranks for a 304/308 block that have either Holden V8 or LJ Chev rod journals. If you use Hodlen rods you need Holden 5.7 pistons. If you use LJ SBC 5.7" rods you use pistons t

nowadays, it's probably better value to get a 383 kit from come. $2200, will give you heaps more power, and better economy than the stock 5 litre, because of all the torque down low.
