Hi guys i have just got a new speco tacho and am not sure how to fit it, it has the green, red and black wires. From what i can see as the instructions are not very good, the green goes to the -ve on the coil the black would be ground and the red to acc, the ute as a VQ stato loom and i have found the brown tacho wire or i think it is, how do i test this and where does it come into the wiring?

You should be able to find Brown wire near passenger side strut tower for the tacho

not sure BCB but the way i checked to see if mine was right was have the motor going and check it with a test light, if it is the tacho wire it should flicker very fast, i thought they were only on injected cars but i may be wrong.
