Is it the same for the earlier utes as well and did this continue in the Commodore utes (havent looked)? "Such is life"

As commodorenut has said, the VG onwards are different lengths, because the ute was built on the wagon platform so the right-hand wheel well is longer because that's where the fuel filler pipe sits in a wagon. The HQ to WB ute & vans are no
